Jesus sighted in local garden

Gethmebane, NC. Locals believing that Jesus has already returned think that he has been sighted in a garden here (appropriately on Thor's Day).
"The innocence of the eyes, his silence as before Pontius Pilate, his general meekness—unmistakable! Miraculous!"
Another said that the sighting substantiates the claim of Mormons that Jesus visited America after his resurrection on Easter Sunday, which is popularly associated with bunnies in American lore. "The Saints seem to be right in believing that the Garden of Eden was in Missouri."
Others here now expect that Jesus will next appear as a fowl—something, at any rate, that is capable of laying eggs for the traditional Easter Egg Hunt.

  1. Miraculous, yes, but it may have been Peter who was seen hopping down the bunny trail.

Peter sightings are even rarer than Jesus sightings. Photos like yours are very valuable collectibles.

  2. Yes, they at least prove the rabbit and the garden exist. Unless, of course, you spent much of your vacation expanding your PhotoShop skills.

    1. Since I'm the one who has been on vacation, I suppose it must be my Photoshop skills? Alas, they are no less poor today than they were before vacationing.
But my tongue is too firmly lodged in my cheek for me to be able to taste the reality of what can be proved and what cannot be.
