My friend's new car
I went with my friend to take possession of her new Volvo this morning:
She is very happy, and her salesman and his boss are happy.
She already offered to let me take it for an errand I just ran (after she got back from her errand), but, curiously, I felt reluctant to do so, given that my 18-year-old Honda would suffice and...I sure didn't want to have an accident in her car! <laugh> Bluetooth cell-phoning is really neat, though. And listening to my book on tape through Aux and the car's speakers....
The City of Mebane observed Halloween on October 30. Your cousins Jennifer and André (and a couple of our neighbors) were here to distribute "treats" (chocolate candies) to the trick-er-treaters. It was fun.
