within the context of hush, a vocabulary of whispers
snow fell
time was not essential—Friday evening into Saturday morning
quiet
the valley filled itself with white evergreens
no wind
an infinity of snowflakes erased sight lines, landscapes
silver
we went into the fields tobogganing snow angels
ice warm.
