Goines On: Entrepreneuring

Goines’ conversation with a young man he met at a family gathering in Virginia stayed with him as he drove himself and Mrs. Goines home on Sunday afternoon. The young man’s profession was business consulting, helping businesses “solve problems and develop strategies.”
The word “entrepreneur” hadn’t come up in the conversation, but now Goines found himself thinking about his grandson, who wanted to be a successful entrepreneur. His grandson was only a few years younger than the young business consultant, and Goines got to wondering whether the consultant ever counseled young entrepreneurs. Might he be willing to talk with Goines’ grandson?

Thor's Day: On certain diatribes against religion

What might motivate them?

By Morris Dean

We wonder whether Christopher Hitchens’
myriad anti-religion bitchings –
as well as Harris’s and Dawkins’ –
    are complaints against the stalkings
of certain evangelizing Christians?

Geez! What gives?

When I revised yesterday's post slightly just now, and Blogger confirmed the action, I was startled to see displayed to the right by Google the concentrated advertising:
  • The Shepherd Project
    Cutting edge Christian speakers,
    including Craig A. Smith
    www.shepherdproject.com
  • Meet Christian Singles
Find Your Christian Soul Mate Here.
Join Now For Free & Find Your Love!
    ChristianMingle.com
  • God Loves You
Here is a Prayer That Can Change Your Life
    www.Jesus2020.com
  • † Play Jesus Songs Now †
† Learn to Play All Your Favorite †
† Jesus Songs in Record Time †

Is this just an artifact of Google's sophisticated (if mis-) direction of advertising, or are Jesus and God pursuing me (like hounds of heaven perhaps)?
