Darn, those cubs are cute

Disneynature's most recent documentary film, Bears (April 2014, directed by Alastair Fothergill & Keith Scholey), seems to me marred by a cutesy narrative (supplied by the voice of John C. Reilly) that oohs and ahs over the antics of grizzly bear cubs Amber & Scout as though Reilly were their uncle competing with some other uncle. There's no doubt, though, that the cubs are cute. I can quote my unsentimental wife on that point; she meant it admiringly, and she doesn't like cutesy any more than I do.
One thing we know

One thing about who we are we know: we evolved from the earliest life forms on Earth. We are, in the deepest sense, children of the Earth, and we are related to Earth's other children. Their personal wild

I returned the African Cats Blu-ray disc to the library unwatched the first time. It was, after all, just a Disney nature documentary and, besides, I could catch it another, slower time. That turned out to be only two days later. The librarian said it was on the shelf. Would I like to borrow it? And Disney's Chimpanzee was there too, so?
