    1. Steve, I'm guessing that you're OK with our celebratory mood but not OK with our opinion that Romney is a venal person. If you were, you'd probably think that the image of a house crushing him was funny and cathartic.

We see Romney as the man who ran the most cynical presidential campaign since the days of Tricky Dick. We see a candidate whose minions bought $5,000 worth of groceries at Wal-Mart so that his supporters could pretend to donate them during a phony Flood Victims' benefit on TV. We see a liar who told auto workers that Jeep manufacturing was being moved to China, demonstrating that in saving their jobs, Obama actually betrayed them. We see the Mormon bishop who told a Mormon woman that she was selfish for considering an abortion, even though her doctor advised that her pregnancy was life-threatening. (And then the bishop had a brief pro-life conversion when he ran for the governorship of Massachusetts.) We see the founder of a heads-we-win-tails-you-lose investment firm, who flaunted this fact as his credentials for economic savior.

You probably have a very different view of Romney's character. Please feel free to rebut our low opinion of him.

  2. I guess great minds think alike, I coined the very same song the night of the election when I sent a text message to my parents in West Texas, both Democrats, I might add. I had to Google the phrase just to see if anyone else thought of it as well, that's how I found this page.

Four more beers! Four more beers! Four more beers!

    1. Yes, Stentor, nice coincidence! Thanks for taking time to note it here. Much appreciated. And nice to know that Google found us when you goggled the phrase. (I've taken the liberty of making "Google" into an uncapitalized verb when I use it it in that way. That use of the word certainly has become ubiquitous!)
