Clematis
Last photo of it I'll ever take
Today is the first day that my wife and I are no longer the legal owners (since 1983) of the home where glories this clematis (and several other clematises and many other flowering or merely leafing plants).
Thank you, Tom. "Rightsizing" sounds right. Not that we're in our new home yet. We've had nine days, I believe, in an apartment so far, and there'll be sixty or seventy more before the permanent size-changing. The apartment is not only smaller than our previous house, but also significantly smaller than our new one will be, so maybe, in the apartment's case, "downsizing" is the right term. I'm glad it's only temporary!
Of course, from the perspective sub species æternitas, our life here on Earth is "only temporary" too, although I don't believe you would agree with that?
A lot of history happens in 25 years. Especially amidst surroundings so pretty. Best wishes to you on your new home.
ReplyDeleteIf my memory of buzzwords is correct, you did not downsize. You "rightsized."
