I had breakfast with a friend a few weeks ago, after which we went for a walk along the Swan River, which runs through Perth and spills out at Fremantle into the Indian Ocean.
Along the walk, a tree caught my eye. It had presumably been hit by lightning at a young age, or half of it had simply blown over to where it was split in half almost down to the ground.
But as you can see, it stood fast to its goal to grow. What amazing examples of determination Nature provides us when we merely take a moment to observe and ponder.

I know we have all seen example of nature doing this, but we/I seem to constantly need reminding to pause, notice and ponder our true realities.
