Two fifths more of fiction

Fifth Saturdays & Mondays

By Morris Dean

Three days ago, on the Third Saturday of this month (July 20), we kicked off a new regular column devoted to fiction with the posthumous publication of Pam Palmer's entertaining story, "How our Thanksgiving goose got cooked." If you haven't read that yet, I urge you to treat yourself to it as soon as possible. We've asked Pam's friend Susan C. Price to please be on the lookout for other stories that Pam might have left behind.
We have also set aside for fiction fifth Saturdays and Mondays as well. We will have a fifth Monday this month, on July 29, and we plan to run the latest submission then—the prologue to a novel in progress.
Each column, on whichever day, will be labeled "Third Saturday Fiction," in order to find them all with a single click in the Regular Columns listing in the sidebar.

We're looking for new fiction, and inquiries are welcome. If you don't know or can't find my email address, I invite you to send private inquiries by way of my Facebook account.
