By Mary Alice Condley (1925-2007)
[Editor's Note: The artist seems to have given this painting to her sister Flo Elowee Story for her birthday, for on the back, in Flo's calligraphic hand, is penned:
June 14, 1997The painting hung in the living room of Flo & her husband, William Don Story (1927-2013), until last summer, when it followed Flo into a nursing home. That's where I spotted it on a visit to Bentonville, Arkansas six weeks ago. Flo's memory has languished and she was unable to confirm that she received the painting as a birthday present.
From DEAR Mary
My Sister
Five paintings from the collection of the artist's son Tim & his wife Kerri Condley appeared here on November 25, 2014. Twenty-three of Mary's paintings have now been shown on Moristotle & Co.]

Today's featured painting by my sister Mary Alice Condley (the 23rd of her paintings we have displayed) adorns the room of our sister Flo Elowee Story in a nursing home in Bentonville, Arkansas. Mary seems to have given the painting to Flo for Flo's 67th birthday, eighteen years ago.
