Happy 80th Birthday (a poem)

For Moristotle

Welcome to the other side of 80. 
The water is about the same,
but not as deep.

Life has been enjoyable,
and enlightening.

You know how they said
don’t burn your candle at both ends?
I think I’m on about my third candle.
