Gild my day, Lilies!
Day Lilies have gladdened my days for many years, and may there be many more!
Thank you, dear Steve. The photos were taken with my Droid (cell phone), by the way. I'm pleased that I've learned how to hold it very still. Now that I've finished turf-turding (yesterday morning), I'll have some leisure to put set up my digiscope and have at the birds! But, right after finishing the turding, we planted a 15-gallon magnolia tree, and I finished off the extended planting area we put it in, including mulching, this morning.
Besides the challenge of holding the Droid still, I suspect that it's not capable of a really sharp close-up. I guess the way to test that would be to mount it (somehow) on a tripod (or on something). Sure convenient, though.

Hmm, actually, for the close-up shot, I'm not sure that I held the phone that steady; pretty fuzzy. (Have you clicked on that image?)
