Tuesday Voice: Ghostly sunset on the Australind estuary

Detail from photo at bottom
It's the rain

By Vic Midyett

So many of my sunset photos on the estuary have looked more or the less the same, but the view when it was raining about ten days ago gave me a chance to change all that.

About Australind. I haven't said so before, but the park Shirley and I have set up in is in Australind, a satellite town and outer northern suburb of Bunbury, Western Australia. It is 12 km north-east of Bunbury's central business district. Its local government area is the Shire of Harvey. At the 2011 census, Australind had a population of 11,954. All this must be true, I got the details from Wikipedia.
