From “The Scratching Post”:
Attention entrepreneurs!

By Ken Marks

Remember the collectible Trump Cards, the ultimate case of hucksterism and self-aggrandizement? Each of them sold for $99, and you didn't even get a physical card. Only a certifiable fool would buy one, yet to no one’s surprise, they sold out! Go ahead and click here. Laugh again.
I’m reminding you of his cards as a point of reference, so you can contrast them to another set of cards that doesn’t yet exist but should before the year’s out. I think of them as the “Trump Disgrace Cards.” I see them as scenes from Trump’s fall from glory, ranging from his soon-to-come perp walk in Manhattan to a picture of a hulking brute molesting him in prison. Of course, the collection would not be complete without mugshots and pictures of his face at each of his sentencing hearings. If a photo of him in an orange jumpsuit holding a mop is obtainable, it would be the prize of the collection. (Although some might favor the one of Trump getting buggered.)
As a bonus, the Disgrace Cards could include the faces of his many toadies and suck-ups when they get the news of a fresh conviction. And by all means Melania and his children should be included in this group.
These should be linen cards, like the best poker cards but somewhat larger. The price of a card should be the production and distribution cost plus a profit of no more than 20%. Every effort should be made to ensure that something so desirable is affordable.
So step up, those of you with some risk capital. It’s your chance to clean up!

  1. Ken, if I were a collector of such detritus, I would probably buy the photo of Trump in an orange jump suit holding a mop.
But it needs to be pointed out that any buggering Trump might be subjected to would hurt him all the more if he got no publicity out of it. I therefore hope the Disgrace Cards include no photos of buggering.

  2. Morris, your argument for not producing a buggery card is an argument for not producing any Disgrace Cards. The American psyche is crying out for these cards. The country needs this catharsis!

  3. Ken, you’re right, and I twinged a bit when posting my comment, realizing too late the implication you point out.
Let’s just hope that Trump is indeed indicted, prosecuted, convicted, sentenced, and hauled off to a series of state and federal prisons, and, in that long process suffers sufficiently for his treasons, seditions, frauds, and cons, even coming to rue his previous lusting after publicity, attention, and adoration.

  4. Ken, according to Apple News, “Grand Jury Votes to Indict Donald Trump” [by Joe Palazzolo & Corinne Ramey, March 30, 2023, 5:34 pm EDT]:

“A Manhattan grand jury has voted to indict Donald Trump for his role in paying hush-money to a porn star on the eve of the 2016 election, according to people familiar with the matter, marking the first time in American history that a former president has faced criminal charges.
“The grand jury returned the indictment of Mr. Trump after a vote on Thursday, the people said, kicking off a process in which the former president will likely be required to come to New York to face the charges. The indictment, sought by the office of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, isn’t public.”

I believe that “Mr. Trump,” as a former U.S. President, is entitled to Secret Service protection. If he should go on to be prosecuted, convicted, and sentenced to serve time in prison, do you think Secret Service agents would reside there too in order to carry out their duties? If so, which do you think more likely: (1) they would step in to protect him from being buggered by that “hulking brute” you mentioned; (2) they would require the brute to let them go first?
I’ll be much obliged if you can answer this intriguing question for me.
