I fashioned the first and concluding haikus while riding back to San Juan Bautista, California, from Palisades National Park on Friday, March 24. The Spanish, French, German, & Japanese versions are merely translations supplied by Google Translate. I did not attempt to mold each into fourteen syllables, and I could not anyway in the case of the Japanese.
