Actually, not an orchid, but an artwork that my wife purchased years ago at A Southern Season, in Chapel Hill |
Nor this, which is an artist's clay rendition that my wife purchased at the Santa Barbara Orchid Show in March |

ReplyDeleteI'm not sure what worries me more, the fact you filled the whole blog, granted very good photos, with flowers or that you know the name of them all. smile
ReplyDeleteHa, my WIFE knows them all - and was kind enough to.tell.me.
DeleteThat many blooms is inspirational. Too bad I garden in the desert.
ReplyDeleteDean, does the "too bad" indicate that you don't have any other option but reside in the desert? I'm glad to be able to show you some blooms you're not seeing there. But please share yours that we don't see here...some cactus blooms when they happen, perhaps? THANKS!
Deletei dont garden cus i suck at growing things...just a few succulents here and there on the balcony...very impressive you two
ReplyDeleteThanks, Susan. You remind me of a doctor my wife was so grateful to she gave him a potted plant. Apparently he never watered it (and neither did anyone else on his staff). When I saw it again a few weeks later it was way dead, but still sitting there in the same pot she gave it to him in, as it did for many more months.
